The district budget report for 2026 allocates 850,000 euros to the program in its first year. Policy analysts say the figure covers an estimated 280 individual grants based on average project costs recorded in Eixample last year.
Implementation Timeline and Application Process
The government says the policy will open applications on January 15, 2027 through the district website and in-person offices on Avinguda Diagonal. Processing is projected to take up to 90 days according to timelines observed in the adjacent districts.
Residents in Les Corts will see the grants administered through the same district environmental office that currently handles recycling rebates. The legislation states that funds must be used within 18 months of approval and that recipients must provide proof of installation by certified contractors.
